Day 38 - Contact Page and Design Specific Interview Questions

Today you'll be making a Contact page - probably the easiest page you'll have to make for your website. On your contact page, it's important for you to include your email and also a few links your social channels.

Depending on what website builder you used, you have the option of adding a contact box...something that looks similar to this

While contact forms have their uses, I strongly recommend you stay away from using them on your personal website.

Here is a great example of a contact page

Today we're going to go over a few questions you might get during an interview for a design position.

  1. How did you become a Designer?
  2. Tell me about a project you’re proud of.
  3. Where do you get design inspirations from?
  4. Do you follow any designers?
  5. How do you keep yourself updated with the latest design trends?
  6. Which company do you think does the best branding?
  7. What's your design process?

Take some time to think of how you would answer these questions. Always remember, your answers should try to tie a connection between your experience and the problem that the company is working to solve.
