Introduction to Figma

Figma is an interface design application that runs in-browser.

Sign up for Figma (the free version will give you all that you need) and follow along with the tutorial. (We strongly encourage you to watch all of our videos at 2x speed)

Spend some time playing around with the tool. Figma is great because there are a ton of free templates that you can find online with components that you can use in new designs so that you aren't starting from scratch each time.

Here are a few great ones that you can add to your Figma account so that they're always there.

Try your best to create one of the two following mockups (either the screen on the left or the screen on the right) with Figma. Feel free to make it your own and use different fonts, colors, images, etc.

Keep in mind, it doesn't have to be perfect! This is your first day using Figma - you'll get better over time.
